I am a passionate Asset Management and Change Management professional. I have delivered training to thousands of people around the world on these topics and simplified how they adopt and make the most out of change to get the most value from Asset Management.

During the day with Structured Change I assist organisations develop their Asset Management Systems, assist them in their preparation for ISO Certification and coach organisations in how to deliver value through understanding their culture, leadership, and management. I have experience across Private, Public, Local Government, Not for Profit (NFP/NGO) and Defence. 

I was the Australian representative on the ISO55001 (International Standard for Asset Management) and led an international team of volunteers (ISO55001:2024) as convener in the review/revision of the standard.

I am the Technical Manager for the Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) exam and the competencies that support it. I also advise organisations on their alignment to the Global Certification Scheme (managed by the World Partners in Asset Management).

I am a Technical Lead in the Asset Management Body of Knowledge (AMboK) Team within the Asset Management Council of Australia. I also assist the Council in Asset Management Maturity Assessments.

I am a project lead in the Global Forum of Maintenance and Asset Management (GFMAM) linking  specifications to competency sets.

  • What are the prerequisites to becoming a CTAM?

    Two years of experience in an asset management-related role.

    It is any role that supports Asset Management decision-making across the asset life cycle, including Managers, Asset Managers, Business Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Product Development, and supporting functions such as Safety, Environment, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Commercial, Human Resources, and Information Technology.

  • How long to I have to complete the CTAM course?

    You have one calendar year to complete the course from the purchase date. It is recommended you complete the course at regular intervals.

  • Am I required to sit the CTAM exam via the WPiAM after I complete this course?

    No. This CTAM course includes an equivalent exam, which has been approved by the WPiAM.

  • I have completed this course. What must I do to receive my CTAM Certification?

    Provide your passing certificate from this course to any participating WPiAM member society and complete the competency profile. This will place you in their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program.

  • If I fail the exam, can I resit it again? Is there an additional cost?

    Yes, you can sit the exam as many times as required at no additional cost.

  • How does the CTAM course differ from the AAMC course?

    Both courses have the same structure however the AAMC course is based on Understanding (refer to Bloom's Learning Taxonomy 2001) and is supported by a 25-question multiple-choice exam.

    The CTAM course is based on Application (refer to Bloom's Learning Taxonomy 2001) and is supported by a 50-question multiple-choice exam.
